On November 09, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., an Open Day was held in the building of the specialized interdistrict juvenile court of Almaty with the participation of court expert A.S. Syzdykbekova.

The following main points were explained by the expert:

- Possibilities of molecular genetic expertise in civil and criminal proceedings;

- issues addressed by this study;

- possible objects of research.

In civil proceedings in cases of divorce, alimony, paternity disputes, inheritance issues quite often there is a need to establish the true biological paternity of citizens in relation to children.

Modern molecular genetic testing capabilities allow us to establish blood relationship between individuals, including paternity, with 99.9999% certainty.

The Open Door Day was attended by lawyers, lawyers of Almaty, representatives of the organization for the protection of the rights of children from orphanages "Korgau HR".
